Sarah became a world traveller early in life. Born in Montreal (Canada) to a French father and a Guyanese mother, her childhood was spent in many places including Vancouver Island, Honduras, Spain & South East Asia. For Sarah, travelling & cultural exchanges are one of the most enriching and heart & mind opening experiences possible.
From an early age, Sarah was fascinated by this world’s immense beauty, but also by the complexities it’s people and environments face. It has always been important for her to create a positive impact on the places she visits by immersing herself in the local culture. Working as a creative organizer for Alyra for the past 5 years has allowed her aspirations to manifest in diverse creative ways.
Sarah’s soul is nomadic, and her key to happiness is movement & diversity! She is currently living between Montreal and Oaxaca (Mexico), practicing her passion for dance, movement, healing practices, working with indigenous communities and creating opportunities for cultural exchange.
Sarah is very passionate of what she does as a Creative Organizer for Alyra Expeditions: creating bridges and connections between two worlds is a fascinating & empowering process to her. She feels extremely privileged to be able to guide groups in different countries of Latin America and Europe. Her goal is to offer life-changing experiences through exchanging & working with local communities, as well as discovering the culture and nature of the local area in the most sustainable way possible.
